The 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games were held at the Carioca 1 Arena and the Rio de Janeiro Youth Arena from August 6 to 20, 2016.

12 Teams participated, divided into 2 Groups of 6 each.

A Match was played against each Team within the same Group. The first 4 of each group advanced to the Quarterfinals, the remaining teams were Eliminated. The Quarterfinal Winners advanced to the Semifinals, and the Quarterfinal Winners contested the Gold Medal while the Semifinal losers fought for the Bronze Medal.
