The XXXVII European Basketball Championship for Women was held jointly in Serbia and Latvia between June 27 and July 7, 2019. The event was organized by the European Basketball Confederation (FIBA Europe), the Serbian Basketball Federation and the Federation Latvian Basketball.

16 National Teams affiliated with FIBA ​​Europe participated, competing for the European Champion Title, whose previous bearer was Team Spain, winner of EuroBasket 2017 .

The Spanish National Team won its 4th GOLD Medal by defeating Team France in the Final with a score of 86-66. In the match for third place, the Serbian team beat the United Kingdom.

The Top Scorer (146 pts.) Was Temi Fagbenle (British Player), and the Championship MVP was Astou Ndour (Spanish Player).
