EUROBASKET 2013

The XXXIV European Basketball Championship for Women was held in France between June 15 and 30, 2013. It was organized by the European Basketball Confederation (FIBA Europe) and the French Basketball Federation.

16 National Teams affiliated to FIBA ​​Europe participated, competing for the title of European Champion, whose previous bearer was the team of Russia, winner of Poland 2011.

The Spanish National Team was awarded the GOLD Medal by defeating the Host Team in the final with a tight score of 70-69, thus achieving its 2nd European Title. In the match for third place, Turkey's team beat Serbia's.

The Top Scorer (166 pts.) And Championship MVP was Sancho Lyttle, Spanish Player.
